Polar Bear Swims

What  a wonderful time I had photographing this polar bear swimming underwater in Anchorage, at the zoo.  I wasted no time cutting a rubber printing block from this drawing, but finally, here is the first quilting pattern from that experience; watch for more to come.

I like him best with even rows flipped horizontally, and offset so the ice bear is parting the waves.
