I just returned from a spectacular trip to Alaska. No, not a cruise, I flew to Anchorage, drove up to a sheep farm clinging to the mountain bluff above Wasilla, photographed wildlife in tamer settings, including this polar bear in the Anchorage Zoo.
I am already cutting rubber printing plates of the set of seven photos of the bears, all swimming underwater. These will be available soon as recorded ie Extreme Digital images, I will be recording them this week.
Meanwhile, here's the first printing plate, I'm already printing fabric from it, and the photo I took as my model. This plate is still in the refining stage, where i print it, then go back and re-cut some more.
Brenda, yes, the rubber print block I cut is for printing, but this polar bear is now a pair of patterns now available for quilting, see New for Spring 2017 collection to see them.
Thanks for asking, sorry I didn’t see this message while I was on road trip.
