Be not fooled, Border Stencil 2, while very simple, makes a great e2e quilting pattern as well as a border. It was originally published by StenSource as a border stencil, thus its name. It is short and simple, it moves like a clamshell pattern, with its classic arch, plus it has a pointy design detail. Overlap side to side, so the start and stop make an in-between design. Mirror two rows to make a wide sash (do you see cats or is it just me?), use for border, or a "clamshelling" e2e by applying a 50% offset to even rows.
